Overview
Allergan Aesthetics classically operated under empowering clinics to grow their business and as the user-base began to grow, there was a growing need to build an educational platform to support their customers. We decided to fill the gap with a coaching app that would provide desired business learning specific to their practice area.

Pain Points & Challenges
Customers have voiced lack of business skills, knowledge, and time to grow their clinics with confidence. In order to do this I had to create a learning experience that provides a structure from learning into real world application for the future state experience.
- Industry is growing rapidly; find it difficult to recruit people with expertise to support that growth
- Unsure how to optimize changes and/or where to invest to guarantee growth and increased profit
- Don’t know how to craft a strategic vision or business plan; more comfortable with patients.

Strategy
A new customer journey was needed to funnel the user from the main website into the learning experience platform. This let current and new customers see that a learning experience existed.
After identifying the learning experience, I broke up the tasks into journeys based on certain scenarios.

Sketch & Wire
After completing the first draft of the flow diagram, I needed to refine the new user and returning user wireframes. This would be the last step before going into design and adding the brand visuals.

Visual Exploration
The brand team gave me the visuals, a high-level design language. We still needed to consider that this is a mobile application experience and how to bring in the visuals without distracting the user.
Key takeaway: I used small sections or patterns from the flow diagram as a foundation to start adding the visual design language.

Application
To get buy-in from stakeholders, I took 3 rough wires and applied the brand visual language. This confirmed the direction and was a quick way to get buy-in without making every screen and revising.
